This role is ideal for a hands-on Scrum Master who can facilitate agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, and act as a servant leader to engineering, product, and business stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring agile best practices are embedded and continuously improved across teams.
This is a freelance / contract, hybrid role with an urgent hiring timeline, supporting delivery teams working on high-impact initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach development teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments and blockers that impact team delivery and sprint commitments.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint readiness.
- Track and report team performance metrics such as velocity, burndown, and delivery predictability.
- Ensure transparency and effective communication across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Support multiple agile teams where required and help scale agile practices across the organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify delivery risks early and proactively work with stakeholders to mitigate them.
- Align team delivery with organizational goals, timelines, and quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise or large-scale technology environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of Agile / Scrum frameworks and delivery methodologies.
- Proven experience supporting engineering-led teams (software development, digital platforms, or data/AI projects).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with distributed or hybrid teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
Engagement Details
- Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance
- Duration: 6 months (initial), with possible extension

- Work Setup:Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home
