SeaLogistics SalesRepresentative is responsible for generating new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME customers. They have a thorough, up to date and in-depth understanding of the trade-lane(s) in terms of the geography of the trade, and the service offerings, such as sailings, transit times, reliability, specific country documentation regulations, local standards, operational requirements, as well as the type of industry/goods/commodity traded on the particular routes.

How you create impact

• Generating new business opportunities with a clear focus on SMEs.
• Taking pricing decisions in alignment with theCustomer CareManagers.
• Preparing quotations using our online tools and submitting our proposals to customers.
• Demonstrating superiorSea Logisticsproduct and trade knowledge.
• Delivering presentations about our mainSea Logisticsproducts.
• Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
• Reporting customer complaints to theCustomer CareTeam.
• Aligning with theCustomer CareTeam when onboarding new customers and providing robust and complete content in the Customer Promise/CCL handover form.
• UsingCoreLOGto maintain and update customer information.
• Performing the relatedCRMtasks/activities. Regularly reviewing the customers portfolio with the CCL managers andCustomer CareTeam.
• Closing customer deals.

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success asfield salesrepresentative in the forwarding / logistics sector.
• A reliable, trustworthy and serious demeanour.
• Excellent negotiating and closure skills, ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organized way.
• A good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Verygood computer skills, particularlyMS Office.
• A validdriving licenseand able to travel.
