Position: Sealine Engineer

Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Work Hours: 9 hrs / 5 days

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Offshore, or related discipline).
• Prior experience in subsea pipeline or sealine engineering within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and reporting abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and/or supervise sealine design and installation analysis.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and requisitions.
• Define operational installation methods and limits.
• Verify subcontracted engineering and oversee procurement/bid evaluation.
• Review client requirements and contribute to technical proposals for EPCI and T&I contracts.
• Ensure project documentation meets quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline and sealine engineering, including design codes, standards, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in engineering software tools for pipeline design and finite element analysis.
• Experience in stress/expansion analysis, riser design, subsea structures, and pipeline stability.
• Familiarity with international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, DNVGL, etc.).
• Ability to prepare and review technical specifications, perform bid evaluations, and manage engineering deliverables.
• Sound understanding of HSE practices and safe work procedures.
