Hassan Allam Construction is seeking a highly experienced Site Engineer Section Head – Mechanical to join one of our major infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on and leadership experience in lift stations and pumping stations.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all mechanical site activities related to lift stations and pumping stations.
- Supervise site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure work execution aligns with project specifications, drawings, and schedules.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and technical office teams to ensure smooth workflow and integration.
- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals related to mechanical works.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource utilization.
- Identify and resolve site technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
- Participate in progress meetings and prepare technical reports for management.
- Ensure testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems are completed successfully.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical works.
- Proven experience in lift stations and pumping stations is mandatory.
- Strong leadership and site management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, piping networks, and valves.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects is a plus.
