JOB PURPOSE
Manage the Electrical Maintenance activities for the production facilities and distribution network in respective
Areas at the Plant, ensuring technical and operational safety, integrity and reliability of the assets and to
minimize downtime of the facilities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Electrical maintenance management
u2022 Lead and manage the Electrical Maintenance activities of the respective Area to provide cost effective
maintenance.
u2022 Ensure implementation of preventive, predictive, corrective, breakdown and modular shutdown
maintenance programs and modifications for enhanced machine availability and Assets integrity.
u2022 Coordinate and follow-up of major projects, upgrades that are carried out in brown field areas of plant.
u2022 Ensure implementation of defined Codes of practice, Maintenance Policies, Strategies, Procedures and
guidelines while maintaining the electrical facilities in assigned area.
u2022 Ensure seamless integration with the Maintenance Group for effective planning and efficient use of
resources with the use of CMMS - MAXIMO system and SAP.
u2022 Prepare the sectionu2019s Capital, EOM, MM and Operating budgets, monitor & control the expenditure
against budget.
u2022 Ensure continual improvement by analysis of failures that has substantial impact on plant operations,
identification of bad actors (RCA), planning & implementation of remedial measures and provide
guidance in developing solutions to rectify the problems.
u2022 Ensure development and implementation of Plant Change Requests (PCRs) by participating in site
engineering studies to determine the feasibility of introducing modification to enhance system reliability
and efficiency of plants in the assigned areas.
u2022 Provide inputs to the development of maintenance strategies for the electrical system assets in
conjunction with the Central maintenance group.
u2022 Enforce implementation of AGP Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and
HSEIA relevant to Maintenance activities and also promote awareness of its use among his staff.
Management
u2022 Plan and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the team to achieve the Department
objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner while ensuring implementation of approved
operational plans for the team in line with Department objectives.
u2022 Develop the knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the team and support the establishment
of Personal Development Plans (PDPu2019s), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within the team in
coordination with the Human Capability Group to continuously develop employees with emphasis on
UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets.
Budgets and Operational Plans
u2022 Compile and provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and regularly monitor expenditure
against approved the team budget levels.
u2022 Investigate, highlight and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost
control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
u2022 Lead the implementation of approved team policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and
internal controls in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company
and International standards.
Performance Management
u2022 Implement the Company Performance Management System for individuals within the team in
accordance with Company approved guidelines and continuously monitor the achievement of the Team
KPIs related to the approved Annual Performance Management Contract and the Balanced Score Card.
Organisation Structure and Development
u2022 Review, develop and recommend the appropriate organisation structure for the Team that will best
utilise human capital while proactively incorporating sustainability into the on-going work practices to
meet the business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
u2022 Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u2022 9 years of experience in engineering and maintenance in electrical discipline in oil & gas industry,
including 4 years supervisory role.
u2022 Demonstrate good knowledge in Oil & Gas industry, power plants
u2022 Good Knowledge of engineering principles, design theory, maintenance systems, process
methodology, regulatory standards, energy systems and design.
