Security Detection & System Engineer – (IGA, Data & Application Security)
NourNet is looking to hire, on behalf of one of our clients in the financial sector, a Security Detection & System Engineer specializing in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Data Security, and Application Security.
The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering, operating, and optimizing security controls that protect critical information assets and support secure digital operations.
Key Responsibilities
Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Administer and optimize IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint) and IAM tools.
- Troubleshoot identity workflows, access provisioning, and RBAC issues.
- Support secure application onboarding and role design with AppDev and Architecture teams.
Data Protection & Application Security
- Implement and maintain DLP, database activity monitoring, and applicationlevel data controls.
- Support secure configuration and policy management for WAF, API security, and web gateways.
- Investigate and resolve DLP incidents and application protection issues.
Detection Engineering & Telemetry
- Integrate identity and data security logs into SIEM platforms.
- Support detection engineering and telemetry enablement across identity and data systems.
- Contribute to security design patterns for identity, data, and application protection.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IAM/IGA, data security, and application security.
- Handson experience with DLP, database monitoring, SIEM integrations, and RBAC.
- Strong troubleshooting and integration skills across identity and security platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Identity/IAM certifications (preferred)
- Experience with SailPoint or similar IGA platforms
- Strong understanding of application security controls
- Knowledge of API security, WAF, and data protection frameworks
