Role Description The Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at a Hilton property in Umluj. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of property security, including safeguarding guests, team members, and assets, and ensuring compliance with Hilton standards and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting regular security inspections, monitoring access control systems, coordinating incident response, and maintaining up-to-date emergency procedures. The Security Manager will lead and train the security team, develop and implement risk mitigation plans, and collaborate with hotel leadership to integrate security considerations into daily operations and special events. The role also involves reporting and documenting security incidents, liaising with local authorities when needed, and continuously improving security practices to support a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Physical Security and Security Management, with experience designing and implementing property-wide security protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity principles to support safe handling of guest and operational data.
  • Understanding of Network Security concepts to coordinate effectively with IT teams on secure systems and access controls.
  • Proven experience in incident management, risk assessment, and emergency response planning in a hospitality or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team supervision, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with local safety regulations and standards; prior work with law enforcement or regulatory agencies is an advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP or equivalent) and a diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field are preferred.
