Job Title:Security Officer - GSOC Analyst
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Reports To: Security Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, and other security systems throughout the shift.
- Respond to alarms and security incidents, and escalate as per SOP.
- Monitor live CCTV feeds and identify suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Dispatch security personnel and coordinate emergency response when required.
- Manage access control, investigate unauthorized access, and support access-related issues.
- Conduct CCTV patrols, system health checks, and retrieve footage when authorized.
- Monitor the health of physical security systems and report faults for timely resolution.
- Maintain effective communication with site teams and conduct detailed shift handovers.
- Record incidents, alarms, patrols, and system issues in desk journals and reports.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and security procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Participate in audits, drills, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend operational and security process improvements where applicable.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 3–4 years of security experience in the UAE, preferably as a Security Supervisor, SOC Operator, or Security Guard in a corporate, critical infrastructure, or data centre environment.
- ASSD CCTV Operator Certificate is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and the ability to use various security and business applications.
- Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, Access Control Systems, alarm monitoring, and security management software.
- Excellent command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Experience in monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, and coordinating incidents with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess incidents and make timely decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 shift environment, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask while monitoring multiple systems simultaneously.
- Good understanding of physical security operations, emergency response procedures, and incident escalation protocols.
- Professional appearance, high level of integrity, and a customer-focused attitude.
- Advance knowledge of report writing and maintaining security logs, shift handover reports, and incident documentation.
- Experience working with data centres, critical infrastructure, or high-security facilities will be an added advantage.
