Job Description

Mira Group is seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of company property, employees, clients, and visitors. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to incidents in a calm and professional manner.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid security license or certification (if required by law)
  • Strong observation and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and monitoring systems
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Working Conditions

  • May include day, night, weekend, or holiday shifts
  • Indoor and/or outdoor work environments
  • Possible exposure to emergency or high-stress situations

Preferred Experience (Optional)

  • Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience
  • First aid or CPR certification

Requirements

  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect suspicious activity
  • Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems
  • Control entry and exit points and verify identification when required
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and alarms
  • Write accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities
  • Enforce company policies and safety procedures
  • Provide assistance and information to visitors, employees, or the public
  • Cooperate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
