Security Platform Engineer – Cloud, Endpoint & Compliance
Location: Abu Dhabi
Contract: 12-Month Extendable Contract
We are currently supporting a major enterprise organisation on a large-scale cybersecurity transformation programme and are looking for a Security Platform Engineer with strong experience across cloud security, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and compliance tooling.
This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering role focused on securing enterprise workloads, cloud environments, and endpoint infrastructure across modern hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate cloud and endpoint security platforms
- Support vulnerability management and compliance scanning activities
- Administer runtime/container security and cloud posture management tooling
- Maintain malware defence and endpoint protection platforms
- Configure and tune detection policies and compliance controls
- Integrate security tooling with SIEM and ticketing platforms
- Support incident response and security investigations
- Produce security posture and compliance reporting
- Work closely with Security Operations, Engineering, and DevSecOps teams
Tooling experience required:
- Palo Alto Prisma
- Tenable
- Sandbox/Antivirus scanner platform
Required Experience
- Strong experience in cybersecurity engineering or cloud security roles
- Hands-on exposure to endpoint security and vulnerability management platforms
- Experience with cloud security technologies and hybrid environments
- Understanding of CSPM, compliance frameworks, and security hardening
- Knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and security operations
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience working within enterprise-scale environments
Nice to Have
- Container/Kubernetes security exposure
- DevSecOps or CI/CD security experience
- Experience with Prisma Cloud, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, or similar technologies
- Exposure to CIS, NIST, ISO27001, or related frameworks
This role would suit someone from a Cloud Security, Platform Security, Endpoint Security, DevSecOps, or Cybersecurity Engineering background looking to work on a large, high-impact programme within a mature enterprise environment.
