Position Title: Security Supervisor

Position Summary
The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily security operations of Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah, ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, contractors and hotel assets. The role supports the Security Manager in implementing security policies, emergency response procedures, loss prevention initiatives and ensuring compliance with SIRA, Dubai Police, UAE Civil Defence and Radisson Hotel Group standards.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations
- Supervise Security Officers during assigned shifts.
- Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, public spaces, back-of-house, beach facilities and the hotel perimeter.
- Monitor CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any defects.
- Enforce hotel security policies and standard operating procedures.
Guest Safety & Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to security incidents, guest concerns and emergencies.
- Assist with VIP movements, special events and crowd control.
- Coordinate with Dubai Police, Civil Defence, Ambulance Services and other authorities when required.
- Support emergency evacuations, fire drills and crisis response.
Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, thefts, disturbances and security breaches.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
SIRA & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with SIRA regulations and licensing requirements.
- Verify that all Security Officers hold valid SIRA Security Guard Licenses.
- Maintain security documentation and support SIRA inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Police and UAE Civil Defence regulations.
Team Leadership
- Conduct daily briefings and shift handovers.
- Monitor attendance, grooming, discipline and performance of Security Officers.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members.
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with hotel Health & Safety policies.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire and life safety equipment.
- Report hazards and unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Hospitality, Criminal Justice or a related field.
- Valid SIRA Security Supervisor License (Mandatory).
- First Aid, CPR and Fire Safety certifications are preferred.
- Good command of written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of security experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in luxury hospitality or beach resorts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIRA regulations, CCTV systems, access control, fire safety and emergency response.
