Security Training & Readiness Manager

We are looking for a Security Training & Readiness Specialist to support the planning, development, coordination, and delivery of security training programs for a major international football event in the Kingdom.

This role is suited for professionals with proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, operational readiness exercises, and learning materials. While prior security sector experience is highly desirable, we also welcome candidates with strong training and facilitation experience from other operational environments.

• Develop, review, and deliver security training content for project security team members.


• Deliver induction and onboarding training for new security team members.


• Support the development and delivery of security training packages for venue and regional operational teams.


• Support the development and delivery of leadership training programs for Security Commanders and Venue Commanders.


• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate weekly and bi-weekly tabletop exercises to test operational readiness.


• Support the oversight of training delivery for a workforce of over 12,000 contracted security personnel.


• Assist in planning and coordinating venue readiness exercises and operational simulations.


• Review and support the quality assurance of Venue Security Operational Plans and related security documentation.


• Contribute to the development and production of Security Steward Guides, Handbooks, and other operational training materials.


• Monitor the quality and effectiveness of security training delivery throughout the operational phase and recommend improvements.


• Work closely with internal stakeholders and service providers to ensure training standards are consistently achieved.

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Education, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Event Management, Emergency Management, or a related discipline.


• Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing and delivering training programs.


• Experience designing training materials, facilitator guides, presentations, and learning resources.


• Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Experience planning or facilitating tabletop exercises, drills, simulations, or operational readiness activities.


• Excellent communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience in security training, venue security, event security, public safety, emergency management, defense, law enforcement, aviation, stadium operations, or major event operations.


• Experience training large operational workforces or outsourced service providers.


• Familiarity with operational planning, security procedures, and quality assurance processes.


• Previous experience supporting international sporting events, major public events, or large-scale infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
