Job description
Brief:
The 3D Artist is responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets and visualizations for a variety of projects, including advertising campaigns, product demonstrations, architectural visualizations, and interactive experiences, specifically tailored for the Saudi Arabian market. This role requires a strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering, as well as a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of Saudi cultural aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling & Asset Creation: Create detailed and realistic 3D models of objects, characters, and environments based on project briefs and specifications.
- Develop and apply textures, materials, and lighting to enhance the realism and visual appeal of 3D assets.
- Optimize 3D models for various platforms and applications, ensuring efficient performance and high-quality visuals.
- Visualization & Rendering: Create high-quality renderings and animations for presentations, marketing materials, and interactive experiences.
- Utilize rendering software to produce photorealistic images and videos.
- Collaborate with art directors and designers to ensure 3D assets align with the overall creative vision.
- Saudi Market Adaptation: Adapt 3D assets and visualizations to reflect the cultural nuances and aesthetic preferences of the Saudi Arabian market.
- Incorporate relevant cultural elements and design motifs into 3D projects.
- Ensure all 3D content is culturally sensitive and appropriate for the Saudi audience.
- Project Management & Collaboration: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with other creative team members, including designers, animators, and developers.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates.
- Technical Proficiency & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest 3D software, techniques, and industry trends.
- Explore new technologies and tools to enhance 3D production workflows.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in 3D Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- +4 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist, preferably within an agency environment.
- Proven experience working on projects for the Saudi Arabian market.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
- Experience with rendering engines such as V-Ray, Arnold, or Redshift.
- Knowledge of animation principles and techniques.
- Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, and lighting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
