Senior Account Executive

Role Description The Senior Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This position is responsible for managing key client accounts, serving as the main point of contact for logistics service inquiries, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Daily tasks include coordinating freight forwarding activities (sea and air), overseeing customs clearance processes, and supporting import/export operations in line with client requirements. The Senior Account Executive will prepare quotations, track shipments, resolve service issues, and collaborate closely with operations and finance teams to maintain accurate documentation and timely billing. The role also involves identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts, developing new business, and providing regular performance updates and reports to both clients and management.
Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, including sea and air logistics, with a solid understanding of import/export procedures.
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes and familiarity with IOR/EOR regulations and documentation.
• Strong account management skills, including client relationship building, negotiation, and issue resolution.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional logistics activities, manage multiple shipments, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics or ERP systems for tracking shipments and preparing reports.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in a senior sales or account executive role within logistics or freight forwarding is highly preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Heliopolis and collaborate effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.
