Job Description
We are seeking a commercially driven and technically strong Senior Account Manager to lead refrigerants sales across the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The role will focus on driving growth of HFC and next-generation HFO product portfolios across OEMs, distributors, contractors, and key end users. This position requires strong market knowledge of fluorinated gases, quota regulations, price management, and strategic account development within the GCC region.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Growth & Account Development
- Manage and grow a defined portfolio of strategic accounts across UAE & KSA.
- Drive sales of HFC and HFO refrigerants across OEM manufacturers, HVAC contractors, distributors, and industrial end users.
- Develop and execute annual account plans aligned with regional targets.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities in retrofit and transition projects (HFC HFO).
- Strategic Market Management
- Monitor HFC phase-down regulations, F-Gas and quota mechanisms, and competitive pricing trends.
- Position lower-GWP HFO solutions as strategic alternatives.
- Provide commercial insight on supply-demand balance and pricing trends.
- Commercial Execution
- Deliver pricing strategy within assigned territory.
- Execute contract negotiations and long-term supply agreements.
- Manage gross margin targets and working capital performance.
- Support forecasting, S&OP input, and demand planning accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with supply chain, technical teams, and regulatory affairs.
- Support marketing initiatives and customer events.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to regional regulatory frameworks (UAE & KSA).
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, export controls, and company ethics policies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field.
- 2-5+ years experience in refrigerants, fluorochemicals, or HVAC-related industries in sales or customer service roll.
- Strong knowledge of HFCs (R134a, R410A, R404A, etc.) and HFO alternatives.
- Demonstrated experience dealing with large distributors and OEM accounts.
- Experience working with clients across both UAE and Saudi Arabia markets.
- Strong negotiation and customer management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with quota-regulated refrigerant markets.
- Knowledge of energy transition and decarbonisation initiatives in KSA & UAE.
- Experience supporting supply and logistic issues within the region
