The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with

key accounts in the space, including retailers, e-commerce platforms, and distribution partners.

This role will focus on driving sales performance, optimizing product placement, executing

strategic initiatives, and ensuring that our products are effectively marketed and merchandised

across all touchpoints. The Senior Account Manager will work closely with cross-functional

teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations, to achieve business goals and

maximize opportunities within the category.

Responsibilities

Key Account Management: Lead the management of strategic accounts, including large retailers, e-commerce platforms, and other distribution partners. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and business growth.

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies to drive revenue and profitability. Ensure the effective execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal strategies to maximize product visibility and sales performance across all key accounts.

Product Assortment & Inventory Management: Collaborate with merchandising and operations teams to optimize product assortments and ensure appropriate inventory levels to meet demand. Work closely with retailers and distributors to ensure timely product replenishment and resolve any inventory or supply chain issues.

Marketing & Promotional Support: Partner with the marketing team to create tailored marketing initiatives and promotional activities that drive engagement and sales within key accounts. Ensure that marketing assets, point-of-sale materials, and product information align with brand guidelines and account needs.

Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms, pricing, and promotional opportunities. Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract terms are aligned with company objectives and business policies.

Market Insights & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior within the sector. Provide actionable insights to the internal team and key accounts to inform business strategies and identify new growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on product launches, category growth strategies, and sales targets. Share feedback from accounts to help improve product offerings, sales approaches, and customer satisfaction.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, account penetration, promotional effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Regularly report progress to senior management and make recommendations for adjustments or improvements to achieve business goals.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Work experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the consumer goods industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving sales growth.
  • Passionate about the industry, with an understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and key competitors.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising, product assortment strategies, and promotional planning
