We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations within the business setup industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, VAT compliance, and experience handling multiple client accounts under corporate services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete accounting cycle including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
- Monitor cash flow and manage company budgets
- Prepare financial reports and MIS for management review
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit readiness
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with UAE laws and IFRS standards
- Oversee payroll processing and WPS compliance
- Support financial planning and cost control initiatives
- Handle intercompany transactions (if applicable for multiple branches)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as CA / ACCA / CMA preferred
- 46 years of accounting experience (business setup or consultancy experience is highly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and corporate tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multi-entity accounting
- Good communication skills in English
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience handling accounting for business setup firms, corporate service providers, or PRO services companies
- Experience working across Dubai & Abu Dhabi regulatory frameworks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset
