Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for a Corporate Service Provider. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to handle daily operations and MIS independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations

• Ensure accurate and timely MIS preparation along with required schedules

• Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance as per UAE regulations

• Maintain compliance with IFRS and UAE accounting standards

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and revenue recognition

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders

• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation

• Assist management with financial analysis and reports as required

Key Competencies & Skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and accounting best practices

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability

• Proficiency in any ERP system (Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho, etc.)

• Experience in reconciliation and daily operations management

• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience

• Experience working in a Corporate Service Provider / Professional Services firm

• Immediate or short notice period preferred

Job Location:

• First 3 months – Dubai

• Thereafter – Abu Dhabi

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance (mandatory)

• Professional qualification such as CA / CMA / ACCA will be an added advantage
