We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager for our Office in Riyadh, KSA.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in accounting. They must have a solid understanding of accounting principles with experience in executing and managing daily accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies and procedures. Preference will be a Saudi. This role will be responsible for accurately managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, preparing financial schedules and leading month-end closing and year-end closing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete general ledger cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations and adjustments
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain the financial schedules including fixed asset schedules, prepaid schedules, and other provision related schedules
- Performa and monitor accounts payable processes and ensure timely invoice processing and reconciliations
- Facilitate the external audit and ensure all documentation and schedules are well maintained and provided
- Monitor expense allocations, identify discrepancies and ensure expenses are recorded in the correct profit/cost centres
- Ensure compliance matters by maintaining proper financial controls and ensuring practices followed are as per company polices and procedures
- Reconcile employee related provisions
- Reconcile the rebates accounts as per contractual terms
- Prepare VAT, tax filings and ensure compliance as per local regulations
- Prepare monthly financial reports as required
- Take an active role in ERP implementation
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Saudi would be preferred
- Years of experience preferred; 7 to 10 years
- Education; bachelor's degree in accounting or higher

- Proficiency in Arabic & English
- Strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- ERP experience (Odoo)
- Knowledgeable in maintaining accounting policies and procedures
- Preferably Arabic speaking
