Sediki Oil FZCO is a dynamic international trading company specializing in petroleum products and fertilizers. As we continue to grow, we'relooking for a Senior Accountant & Banking Specialist to join our Dubai-based team and take ownership of our financial operations and banking activities.

This is a high-impact role who can build our accounting function from the ground up, manage UAE banking and trade finance operations, and ensure full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and manage the company's accounting systems and internal controls

Handle daily accounting operations: bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and management report

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and DMCC regulations

Manage cash flow, payables, receivables, and working capital

Handle all aspects of UAE banking operations (corporate accounts, online platforms, payments)

Prepare KYC, compliance, and trade finance documentation for banks

Manage relationships with banks and resolve operational issues

Oversee trade finance transactions: LCs, SBLCs, bank guarantees

Support audits, VAT filings, tax submissions, and financial forecasting

Deliver strategic financial insights and actionable solutions that drive business performance and support long-term growth objectives

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, CA preferred)

8+ years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management (ideally in commodities, petroleum, or fertilizer trading)

Strong understanding of UAE banking systems and trade finance instruments

Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or Oracle

In-depth knowledge of UAE tax laws and DMCC compliance

Experience handling LCs, SBLCs, and international payments

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Highly organized and proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset

Fluency in English is a must
