Job Title: Senior Accountant (Fit-Out / Contracting)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations within a fit-out contracting environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing project-based accounting, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
• Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision-making
2. Project Accounting (Critical for Fit-Out)
• Track project costs against budgets (materials, labor, subcontractors)
• Monitor project profitability and cost deviations
• Coordinate with project managers for cost allocation and reporting
• Review BOQs, variations (VOs), and project billing
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Manage supplier payments, subcontractor invoices, and reconciliations
• Follow up on client payments and maintain strong cash flow
• Review contracts and payment terms to ensure compliance
4. Cost Control & Budgeting
• Implement cost control procedures across all projects
• Analyze variances between actual vs. budgeted costs
• Support procurement and commercial teams in cost evaluation
5. Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
6. Payroll & HR Coordination
• Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and employee benefits

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA / ACCA / CMA) is preferred
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in contracting or fit-out industry
