Senior Accountant

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure VAT compliance, manage financial reporting, and support management with accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations

2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

3. Ensure UAE VAT compliance: returns, filings, audits, documentation

4. Manage accounting systems (QuickBooks & Odoo) accurately

5. Monitor inventory, COGS, and margins (especially for auto parts trading)

6. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banks

7. Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and regulatory standards

8. Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow analysis

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2. 5+ years UAE experience in a Senior Accountant role

3. Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks & Odoo (non-negotiable)

4. Excellent understanding of VAT, financial reporting, and controls

5. Auto parts / trading industry experience preferred

6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
