Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, including tax filings and regulatory submissions.
- Oversee billing, collections, payments, and daily cash management.
- Improve credit control processes and reduce aged receivables.
- Manage vendor payments while maintaining optimal cash flow. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and relevant regulations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal, external, and FTA audits.
- Monitor and manage tax compliance related to VAT, customs duties, and corporate taxation, particularly in the logistics industry.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial procedures and cross-functional workflows.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 58 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Prior experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong command of accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or industry-specific platforms).
- Proficient in Advanced Excel, AI tools, and financial modeling, with the ability to analyze data, automate processes, and generate strategic insights
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
