Senior Accountant Client Accounting & Reporting

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting & Reporting team in Dubai. The role will involve managing accounting assignments for a portfolio of clients, reviewing work performed by junior team members, coordinating directly with clients, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting and reporting deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and reporting requirements for assigned clients.
• Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, ledgers and accounting schedules prepared by junior team members.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reporting schedules.
• Coordinate directly with clients for information, queries and periodic reporting requirements.
• Guide, mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
• Support VAT compliance by ensuring accounting records and reconciliations are complete and accurate.
• Manage multiple client deadlines and ensure timely closure of assignments.
• Work across different accounting platforms and help improve accounting processes and reporting.

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with an accounting, audit or consulting firm handling multiple clients.
• UAE experience and prior exposure to a client-facing role preferred.
• M.Com or equivalent accounting/finance qualification; CMA / ACCA qualified or pursuing will be an advantage.
• Strong accounting fundamentals with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Excel skills and practical experience with accounting software.
• Exposure to platforms such as Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo, Tally or similar systems would be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise junior staff, take ownership of assignments and work effectively under deadlines.
