We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with 12 years of experience in Dubai's real estate sector to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records in line with UAE accounting standards and legal requirements.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and forecasts to support executive decisionmaking.
- Oversee daily transaction reconciliations, including accounts payable and receivable.
Payroll & Expense Management
- Manage payroll processing with full compliance to WPS regulations.
- Handle employee reimbursements while ensuring adherence to internal controls.
- Track departmental budgets and recommend costefficiency improvements.
- Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Lead VAT filings and tax return submissions in accordance with UAE tax laws.
- Stay updated on Dubai's financial and real estate regulations and integrate changes into company policies.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Banking & Cash Flow Management
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain clear visibility of cash flow.
- Ensure financial liquidity through proactive monitoring and forecasting.
Strategic Financial Collaboration
- Work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide insights and guidance on investments, new ventures, and expansion initiatives.
- AML & Compliance Leadership
- Develop and implement AML policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Establish and operationalize the AML & Compliance function in line with international best practices.
- Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance training sessions.
- Monitor and escalate suspicious transactions as per regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison with compliance authorities and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience:* 2+ years in Dubai Real Estate (mandatory)
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce
- Languages: Turkish and Arabic preferred; English is mandatory
