Senior Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage full-set accounting, financial closing, statutory compliance, manufacturing costing, and finance process improvements. This role is suited for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, good Singapore compliance knowledge, and exposure to manufacturing or high-tech environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full spectrum accounting activities, including AP, AR, employee claims, journal entries, and general ledger.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.
• Support corporate tax, GST, and statutory compliance matters.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with Singapore FRS.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management review.
• Handle manufacturing accounting activities, including inventory valuation, WIP, and cost variance analysis.
• Work with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost visibility and controls.
• Support ERP usage, system improvements, automation, and process enhancement initiatives.
• Assist with internal and external audits, internal controls, and finance-related projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting and financial closing.
• Good knowledge of Singapore FRS, GST, and corporate tax compliance.
• Manufacturing accounting or costing experience is highly preferred.
• Exposure to inventory valuation, WIP, and cost variance analysis will be advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, independent, accountable, and comfortable working cross-functionally.
