We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support timely reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, ERP experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close
- Handle accruals, provisions, and journal entries
- Maintain general ledger, perform reconciliations, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable & receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
- Support internal & external audits
- Prepare MIS reports and assist in budgeting & forecasting
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- 47 years of accounting experience
- UAE / GCC experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and VAT
- ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central is a plus)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent
- CA / ACCA (part-qualified preferred)
