Senior Accountant – Fintech

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Fintech Accountant to join our Dubai-based team. This on-site role involves handling financial operations such as transaction reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, and overseeing compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Fintech Accountant will also assist with audits, develop financial reports, manage budgets, and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services
• Strong experience in transaction reconciliation (MUST)
• Understanding of payment flows, settlements, and merchant payouts
• Experience working with payment gateways or processors (VERY strong plus)
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and compliance (FTA requirements)
• Background in audit (Big 4 = big advantage)
• Proficiency in accounting systems + Excel (advanced level)
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
• ACCA / CPA is a plus

Candidates without experience in payments, fintech, or high-volume transaction reconciliation will not be considered.
