Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Manage monthly closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted on time.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and forecasting models aligned with company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or equivalent professional designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
