Senior Accountant

Job role: Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting

Handle VAT filing, tax compliance, and audit coordination

Oversee payroll processing and employee expense tracking

Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards

Support management with financial analysis, cost control, and profitability reports

Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in the FMCG industry

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT, and UAE compliance

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)

Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial analysis

Strong understanding of accounts receivable, payable, and reconciliations

High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

Ability to handle confidential financial data

Good communication and reporting skills

Must Have Skills

VAT filing & UAE financial compliance

Strong experience in GL, AP, AR & bank reconciliations

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho)

Advanced MS Excel skills
