Job Description
Title : Senior Accountant
Location : Dubai
Duration: 3-6 months (extension based on project confirmation)
1. Role Purpose
- Provide Recon Hub operational support and support ARCS implementation while maintaining accurate, timely and controlled reconciliation of assigned Accounts Receivable and General Ledger accounts.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end reconciliation of assigned GL accounts for AR or GL teams, including AR control accounts, clearing accounts and accrual accounts.
- Prepare reconciliation dashboards, KPI reports and management summaries highlighting key risks and exceptions.
- Coordinate with business, Treasury, Cash Application, GL and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and process improvement within reconciliation activities.
3. Technical Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of reconciliation methodologies and accounting controls.
- Sound knowledge of Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and financial-close processes.
- Experience analysing high volumes of transactional data and identifying mismatch root causes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, SAP and Yardi.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and appropriate analytical / AI tools.
