Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee key accounting operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in VAT compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and monthly closing processes, along with hands-on experience using ERP systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to support financial decision-making while ensuring compliance with local regulations in KSA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Handle VAT-related activities, including VAT return preparation, reconciliation, compliance with ZATCA regulations, and coordination during audits.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational requirements.
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and cost tracking.
  • Utilize and maintain ERP systems to manage financial transactions and reporting efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 57 years of accounting experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong experience with VAT regulations and compliance in KSA.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
  • Solid knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and monthly closing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
