Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Dubai. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial operations, analyze financial data, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating with external auditors during financial audits. The ideal candidate will also contribute to process improvements and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable management
• Knowledge of local tax laws and compliance regulations in the UAE
• Proficient in using accounting software like ABOUSI and QUICKBOOKS and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate with team members
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus
• Luxury rent a car experience is a must
• UAE experience is a must
• Knowledge about VAT and Corporate tax
