Job Purpose
This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting
activities, monthly and quarterly reporting, payroll-related accounting, vendor payments, budgeting support, VAT compliance and other finance-related activities
As the business expands, the role is expected to support broader finance responsibilities,
including invoicing, receivables, commercial accounting and possible ERP transition.
The company is currently using Sage Accounting & Payroll systems.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a
senior or supervisory accounting role.
• Strong experience in financial accounting, month-end and year-end closing, payments,
reconciliations, payroll accounting, budgeting, and VAT.
• UAE accounting experience is required.
• Experience with Sage or similar accounting / ERP systems is required.
• Exposure to SAP or ERP migration projects will be an advantage.
• Experience in a multinational or regional office environment will be preferred.
• Experience in a trading, automotive, motorcycle, or commercial business environment will
be an added advantage.
• Experience in asset control, stock taking and support for internal admin / business projects
will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong accounting knowledge and sound understanding of financial controls
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, UBO and other FTA compliance
requirements
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good presentation preparation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting systems
• Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality and ownership
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
