Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within a trading environment involving import and export operations. This role requires expertise in managing high-volume transactions, financial audits, reporting, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
• Oversee financial reporting processes and ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, including audit finalization and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Handle financial planning and forecasting in coordination with management.
• Manage accounting for international trading activities, including import/export transactions, customs documentation, and foreign currency dealings.
• Monitor and control cash flows and large-volume transactions efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
• Support budgeting processes and provide detailed financial analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in trading/import-export businesses.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, IFRS, and financial compliance standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
