Senior Accountant

Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. As part of our team in Egypt - Cairo, you'll work in an ONSITE environment where your expertise drives financial excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies swiftly.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Lead internal and external audit preparations and collaborate with auditors.
• Support tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Monitor and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
  
  

Must have requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient verbal and written communication abilities in English.
