Role Overview
Join our dynamic finance department as a Senior Accountant, where you'll support executive leadership in a fast-paced environment. As part of our team in UAE - Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment ensuring accurate financial operations, strategic planning, and compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and perform in-depth variance analysis across departments.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic business decisions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with international and UAE accounting standards.
- Support executive leadership with insights, reporting, and recommendations for business growth and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations, preparing required documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Continuously identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to optimize accounting operations.
Must have requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, and FP&A functions.
- Extensive knowledge of managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Thorough understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to support executive leadership with strategic financial planning and reporting.
Nice to have requirements
- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Experience in a multinational company or within the UAE market.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of IFRS and local UAE GAAP accounting standards.
