What you'll be doing:

R2R Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.The role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles in the retail industry.

Core Responsibilities

1.Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
2. Month-End and Year-End Closing: Collaborate with the finance team to support the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, adjustments, and reporting.
3. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
4. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
5. Fixed Assets Accounting: Manage fixed assets accounting, including depreciation calculations and tracking, and handle related capitalization and disposals.
6. Intercompany Transactions: Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency.
7. Audit Support: Act as a key point of contact during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
8. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve R2R processes, enhancing efficiency and controls.
9. Compliance and Policies: Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies, ensuring full compliance and timely implementation of changes.
10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, treasury, and operations, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
