Senior Accountant (Russian speaker)

Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee accounting processes in compliance with IFRS standards and local tax regulations.
• Design, implement, and monitor effective accounting and internal control procedures.
• Prepare and deliver monthly IFRS financial reporting for a portfolio of investment and holding structures in the UAE.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive management reporting system for shareholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) returns in the UAE.
• Review and approve contracts from an accounting and tax perspective.
• Organize and maintain proper archiving of accounting and legal documentation.
• Coordinate annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial reporting role.
• Proven experience in IFRS financial reporting preparation.
• Hands-on expertise with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic oversight and day-to-day operations.
• Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven.
• Advantage: knowledge of accounting for investment funds.
