Terracotta Outsourcing is seeking a detail-oriented and highly communicative Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Abu Dhabi. This role is central to our financial operations, focusing on robust financial reporting, end-to-end payroll management, and proactive accounts receivable oversight. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting fundamentals and the interpersonal skills necessary to engage effectively with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
- Drive the end-to-end month-end closing process, ensuring all accruals, provisions, and adjustments are accurately captured.
- Perform comprehensive reconciliations across General Ledger (GL), bank statements, intercompany accounts, payroll, and AP/AR.
- Prepare detailed management reports, providing insightful variance analysis to support business decisions.
Payroll & Compliance
- Oversee payroll accounting and coordination, ensuring full alignment with WPS (Wages Protection System) and accurate cost allocation.
- Maintain a strong awareness of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing timely and accurate documentation.
Accounts Receivable & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage the Accounts Receivable function, including consistent follow-ups, aging reviews, and efficient dispute resolution.
- Partner closely with Operations and Sales teams to ensure financial alignment regarding client accounts.
- Act as a point of contact for clients for financial inquiries and reconciliation matters.
Data Integrity
- Ensure the highest level of data integrity across ERP systems and all financial reporting platforms.
Candidate Requirements
Experience & Education
- Years of Experience: 7 to 9 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Industry Background: Previous experience within the Services Industry is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Core Skills: Strong expertise in financial reporting, payroll management, and UAE tax compliance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for stakeholder and client engagement.
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP environments and advanced Excel skills.

- Work Environment: This is a fully Onsite role based in Abu Dhabi; hybrid work is not permitted.
