About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Consultant to join the Finance department of a leading Asset Management Company in Riyadh.
This is a strategic secondment opportunity to manage financial planning, budgeting, and comprehensive management reporting for one of the Kingdom's largest AMCs.
You will play a critical role in supporting financial decision-making, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across investment, brokerage, and fund management divisions.
This role is for 6 months contract - subject to extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans across multiple business units
- Prepare comprehensive monthly/quarterly management reporting with variance analysis and KPI tracking
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against established targets and regulations
- Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
- Support investment, brokerage, and fund management teams with financial insights and scenario analysis
- Ensure compliance with capital market regulations, Saudi regulations, and internal governance frameworks
- Collaborate with internal audit, external auditors, and regulatory bodies
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior management on strategic initiatives
Required Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, and financial planning
- Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting in complex financial environments
- Experience working with capital market institutions, banks, investment firms, or asset management companies in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
- Strong understanding of investment products, brokerage operations, and fund management accounting
- Familiarity with SAMA regulations, Saudization requirements, and local accounting standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong proficiency with Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification: CPA, ACCA, CA (Chartered Accountant), or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
- Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of fintech, digital banking, or digital wallet accounting
- GFCI (Global Financial Compliance Institute) or capital markets compliance certification
- Bilingual capability (Arabic & English) is a strong advantage
