Job title: Senior Accounts Associate 

The Senior Accounts Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience with Indian accounting standards and taxation. 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. 
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions. 
• Perform monthly bank, vendor, and account reconciliations. 
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes. 
• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial schedules. 
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements. 
• Coordinate with auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits. 
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules. 
• Process employee reimbursements and support payroll accounting. 
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records. 
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. 
• Is able to understand and work on US accounting system 

Requirements: 

• Commerce graduate/ post graduate preferred 
• CA Inter preferred. 
• 4–7 years of experience in accounting and finance. 
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Companies Act, and Indian accounting practices. 
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems. 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
