Senior Accounts Payable Accountant

Job Description:

- Review supplier invoices for accuracy, completeness, and required approvals before posting.

- Post supplier invoices, credit notes, and adjustments accurately on the ERP system.

- Prepare payment runs and supporting documents for approval.

- Prepare WHT reconciliations and filings.

- Perform supplier reconciliations and investigate any variances.

- Review VAT and WHT treatment on supplier invoices.

- Support month-end closing, including accruals, cut-off, and AP reconciliations.

- Handle vendor inquiries and discrepancies.

- Support internal and external audits.

- Review and support the work of Junior AP Accountants when required.

- Prepare AP reports and analyses.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 3-6 years of Accounts Payable and financial operations experience.

- Strong knowledge of the full AP cycle, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.

- Familiarity with Egyptian VAT, WHT, and E-invoicing.

- Strong ERP experience and Advanced Excel.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Meet month-end/payment deadlines.
