Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Administrator to manage and maintain our enterprise identity and core infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, administration, security, and optimization of Active Directory and related services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including domain controllers, forests, trusts, and Group Policy.
  • Manage and monitor DNS and DHCP services to ensure reliable name resolution and IP address management.
  • Oversee enterprise Certification Authority (PKI) infrastructure, including certificate lifecycle management.
  • Configure, maintain, and secure file servers and related storage services.
  • Perform domain controller upgrades, patching, replication monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including access controls, auditing, and compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex AD, DNS, DHCP, and PKI issues in multi-site environments.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on system hardening and identity governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Active Directory in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience managing Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, and PKI/Certification Authority.
  • Experience with Group Policy design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, security certifications) preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Azure AD / hybrid identity environments.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable identity infrastructure.
