Senior Actuarial Analyst

We are looking for a talented Student Actuary with strong analytical skills and experience in P&C to join our actuarial team. The role will involve supporting the actuarial activities across Data Analysis, Pricing, Reserving, Regulatory Reporting and Risk Management.

Hands-on experience in SQL and R/Python will be a strong advantage and will place candidates at the top of the shortlist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements

• Handle analytical work covering data preparation and analysis

• Assist with the portfolio analysis for all P&C Lines of Business.

• Assist in Pricing as and when required including large schemes and fleets

• Assist in Risk management reporting including ORSA

• Assist in analytical work for business decision making

Requirements:

Essential:

• Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial Science/Finance

• 2-4 years of experience in an actuarial function with at least 2+ years experience in a non-life insurance company actuarial function

• Working towards actuarial qualification (3+ exams)

• Strong Excel skills

• Strong analytical, mathematical and statistical skills

• Proficiency in coding in R and SQL

Nice to have:

• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau
• Experience with tools such as Alteryx
• Broad knowledge of applicable UAE laws and regulations
