- Job Location: Hybrid - Cairo, Egypt.
- Employment Status:Part-Time, Project-Based.
- Working Days: 5 days (Sunday Thursday).
- Core Working Hours: 2:00 PM : 4:00 PM - Rest hours are flexible.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer with strong experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize NLP and LLM-based solutions
- Build, fine-tune, and deploy Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) models
- Integrate AI/ML models into production-ready applications and APIs
- Work with large datasets for preprocessing, annotation, and model training
- Evaluate model performance and improve accuracy, latency, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, frontend, and product teams
- Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in AI, NLP, and speech technologies
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- +3 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering
- Strong background in NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Proven hands-on experience with STT and/or TTS projects
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or RAG systems
- Familiarity with transformer architectures and modern NLP pipelines
- Experience deploying ML models using APIs, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong understanding of data preprocessing, evaluation metrics, and model optimization
- Strong communication and documentation skills, problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently in a part-time structure, team player with a collaborative mindset
- Good command of English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with real-time speech processing systems
- Knowledge of audio signal processing fundamentals
- Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search
- Experience working with multilingual models (especially Arabic is a plus)
- Background in MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, monitoring, versioning)
