We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Logistics Operations to join Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd in the East Region. This is a full-time position offering a strategic opportunity to drive operational excellence and data-driven decision making within our logistics operations. As Senior Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing complex logistics data, identifying process improvements, and providing actionable insights that directly impact our operational efficiency and business performance. This position represents a key analytical function within our logistics team, where your expertise will influence strategic initiatives and enhance our competitive advantage in the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.
Key responsibilities
Analyse logistics operations data to identify trends, bottlenecks and inefficiencies across supply chain processes
Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards and performance metrics to track key operational indicators
Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues and recommend data-backed solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, translating complex logistics data into clear, actionable insights
Collaborate with logistics, transport and warehouse teams to gather requirements and validate analytical findings
Optimise logistics workflows by analysing historical data and forecasting demand patterns
Monitor compliance with logistics standards and standard operating procedures, flagging deviations for corrective action
Support continuous improvement initiatives through statistical analysis and process benchmarking
Maintain data integrity and oversee the development of automated reporting systems
Mentor junior analysts and support team capability development
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years experience in logistics operations analysis, supply chain analytics or similar analytical role within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI or similar business intelligence software
Strong expertise in logistics and supply chain metrics, KPIs and performance management frameworks
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations for operational stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to investigating operational challenges
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, pivot tables and data modelling
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is highly valued
Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering measurable results
Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
