Senior Architect - CAD Drafting & Point cloud to CAD Specialist

We are the largest European laser scanning production company, offering services such as SCAN2BIM (Revit & ArchiCAD), SCAN2CAD (AutoCAD), point cloud registration (Leica Cyclone & Trimble Real Works), and other AEC services. Our company provides a wide range of geospatial services for Surveying & AEC businesses worldwide. We currently have 30+ employees in Alexandria and are looking to expand our team.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Architecture & CAD Drafting Engineer - Scan to CAD at GEOBIRO Engineering Services in our office in Alexandria, Egypt. The role involves daily tasks such as creating 2D as built drawings in AutoCAD from point clouds scan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating and developing accurate 2D as build drawings using AutoCAD and point cloud data.

Coordinate and collaborate with the team and project manager any related issues of the project.

Update models to reflect client requirements or site changes.

Ensure deliverables are issued on time and meet the quality control standards and project requirements.

Troubleshoot drawings issues and resolve all QC reports.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work from our Alexandria office (on-site position).

Experience with point cloud drafting in AutoCAD.

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or any related field.

Senior applicants must have the following:

1.Over 2 years of experience in CAD field with at least 1 year with 2D as built drawings from point clouds

2.Strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

3.Proven experience in managing teams and handling large-scale projects.

4.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

5.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
