Senior Architect Owner's Representative / Consultant Coordination
Job Purpose
To lead and oversee architectural works for the company's real estate projects, ensuring effective coordination with external consultants while working closely with in-house design teams. The role ensures that all architectural deliverables align with the company's vision, regulatory requirements, timelines, and approved budgets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as the main architectural focal point between the company and external consultants (engineering, supervision, authorities consultants, etc.).
- Coordinate architectural requirements with internal departments (Design, Projects, Development, Sales, and Marketing).
- Review, validate, and approve architectural drawings and documents prepared by the in-house design teams at all stages (Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, IFC).
- Ensure all architectural designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and authority requirements.
- Represent the company in technical meetings with consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Review design comments, technical clarifications, and variations, and ensure proper implementation.
- Monitor design schedules and ensure timely submission of all architectural deliverables.
- Support management in architectural and design-related decision-making.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and value engineering across all projects.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior architects within the company (if applicable).
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's Degree is an advantage).
Required Experience
- Minimum 810 years of experience in architectural design and coordination.
- Proven experience working within real estate developers or large organizations with in-house design teams.
- Strong experience in coordinating with external consultants and regulatory bodies.
- Experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, SketchUp).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and authority requirements.
- Excellent ability to review and analyze architectural drawings and technical documents.
