We are hiring a Senior Architect Engineer - Desing to be based in Abu Dhabi to lead the design and development of Service Station in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of service station projects from concept to completion
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry codes
- Review and approve design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications
- Optimize site layouts, forecourt design, and traffic flow efficiency
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related issues
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities for approvals
- Ensure quality standards and best practices are maintained throughout the design process
- Support value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field (minimum four-year program)
- 15 years of overall professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE (mandatory)
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in design development and permitting projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Abu Dhabi authorities, including handling submissions and approvals
- Fluency in Arabic and English (verbal and written)
- Holds a valid UAE driving license
